Technology & Working Principle
Demineralized water—also known as Deionized Water—is water from which dissolved mineral ions have been removed. These ions include cations such as sodium, calcium, iron, and copper, and anions such as chloride, sulphate, and nitrate.
The deionization process uses specially designed ion exchange resins that replace dissolved mineral salts with hydrogen (H⁺) and hydroxyl (OH⁻) ions, which combine to form pure water. Since most impurities in water are present as dissolved salts, this process produces high-purity water comparable to distilled water, without scale formation and with faster processing.
